I Want a Divorce

I want a divorce. It’s over.

By the time you hear these words, there’s not a lot you can do about it.

It’s exactly the same in leadership when you hear the words, “Here’s my resignation, I'm done."
The trust and commitment is gone. You can’t make them stay.

They’ve been wooed by a new leader and a new firm, maybe with big promises.
There’s no point in being reactive.

Leadership is all about proactivity.

It’s the things you do, for each and every team member, every day, week, month and year - the rhythm of leadership. The things you do to make your people feel valued and supported.

What are you doing right now to build your team’s commitment to you?
Are you providing them with a sense of purpose and belonging?
Are they learning and do they feel empowered?
Do they only have eyes for you or are they looking elsewhere?

Let’s talk leadership for you and your organisation.
